Estamos utilizando esta bomba de aceite en nuestro Ibiza de drag racing, y hemos invertido muchas carreras en optimizar su rendimiento.
Hemos incrementado la presión de aceite a alrededor de 8 bar desde los 4 bar originales.
Este ajuste proporciona un mayor caudal de aceite y ayuda bajo cargas elevadas.
Además, solemos utilizar aceite 10W-60 en lugar de la especificación original para uso en competición.

Increasing oil pressure is a crucial improvement for EA888 engines, as installing stiffer valve springs leads to the destruction of the oil film at the camshaft support points, resulting in cylinder head damage.

Additionally, the increased oil pressure cools all crankshaft bearings more effectively. The higher oil volume delivered under pressure helps lower temperatures in critical areas such as the piston pin, cylinders, and the underside of the piston.

Furthermore, eliminating the oil pressure relief valve controlled by the engine management system allows for higher oil pressure even at low loads, ensuring better lubrication and overall engine longevity.
