The RTMG Performance Dual LPFP Upgrade Kit has been engineered specifically for the Audi RS3 8Y and Audi TTRS 8S platforms, providing a complete low-pressure fuel supply solution capable of supporting up to 1300 HP.
Unlike basic pump upgrades, this kit is a complete fuel delivery system designed, tested, and installed in-house on our own high-horsepower vehicles. Every component has been selected to ensure maximum reliability, fuel flow capacity, OEM-like drivability, and future expandability.

Advanced Dual-Pump Strategy
The factory brushless fuel pump remains fully operational and continues to handle normal driving conditions using the OEM fuel controller.
The secondary Walbro 450 pump is controlled independently by the RTMG Performance Fuel Controller. This intelligent strategy offers significant advantages over traditional dual-pump systems:
- Secondary pump only activates when additional fuel flow is required
- Reduced fuel temperature during normal driving
- Lower electrical load on the charging system
- Extended fuel pump lifespan
- OEM-like drivability and noise levels
- Improved fuel efficiency during cruising
Pump activation pressure is user-adjustable through the RTMG controller and can be configured to engage at the desired boost level, typically around 1–2 bar depending on the application.
Fuel Flow Architecture
The system features dual fuel outputs from the upgraded fuel basket, feeding through AN8 lines into a high-flow check valve assembly.
This configuration maintains proper fuel pressure retention and preserves full Start/Stop functionality while ensuring unrestricted fuel delivery under extreme load conditions.
Fuel then flows through the supplied high-flow fuel filter and forward to the high-pressure fuel pump.
For customers running supplemental port injection systems, the kit provides sufficient capacity to support an additional set of low-pressure injectors without compromising direct injection fuel supply.
Billet Fuel Basket Components
The fuel pump mounting system is manufactured from aerospace-grade billet aluminum and precisely machined to fit the factory fuel basket.
